Important Information About Opening an Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
You authorize Bluestone Bank to obtain a consumer report on you for the purpose of verification of your identity and information that you have provided to us. Upon request, you agree to provide personal identification, such as a driver’s license, when conducting certain transactions. For deposit accounts, Bluestone Bank may obtain any credit reference necessary including but not limited to ChexSystems.
